Living Lakes

Living Lakes strives for effective protection of water in the most important lake areas around the world. A world wide future oriented initiative. At the moment 99 members belong to the network; 33 of them are international partner lakes as well as 13 candidates, as well as 52 national partners and the honorary member, Lake Vostok.

The Living Lakes Network Latin America and the Caribbean, is part of the International Living Lakes and consists of 10 NGOs working to strengthen sustainable development in their environment. The aim of the network is concentrated in the exchange of information and experience to provide activities for capacity building, cooperation with other stakeholders such as local, regional and private sector.
